We are Stan.
We make tools for people who build in public, and we use them on ourselves. Launchpad is the version of our own working week that we would have wanted at the start, run for thirty teams at once.

We did not set out to run an accelerator.
Stan started as a tool for creators who wanted to sell something to the people already listening to them. Building it taught us the thing the whole camp is built around: the gap between having an idea and having a customer is mostly courage and a very short deadline.
So we started running that pattern on ourselves. Pick a wedge on Monday, talk to people by Wednesday, charge for it by Friday, and say all of it out loud while it happens. It worked often enough, and embarrassed us often enough, that we stopped treating it as a stunt.
Launchpad is that method handed over. We are not the gatekeepers of it and we do not think it belongs to us. Thirty teams, a camp, and the same fortnight we would have run anyway, except this time the whole thing is filmed, so the parts that usually get edited out of founder stories are the parts you get to watch.

Come and do it with us.
Thirty teams, one camp, fourteen days. If you have read this far you probably already know whether it is for you.
