Who we want in the room.

Thirty teams get in. We are not filtering for pedigree, revenue or a warm introduction. none of that survives the first week anyway. We are filtering for people who can be unreasonable for a fortnight in front of a camera.

A team, not an idea

Two or three people who have already argued about something hard and stayed in the room. Going solo is possible, but it is a steeper fortnight than it sounds.

Fourteen days you can give

On site, the whole time. No commute home at the weekend, no client work running quietly in the background, no calendar you are still honouring.

A starting line of zero

No traction, no round closed, nothing you are protecting. Everyone begins on the same line, which is the only reason the fortnight is a fair fight.

A tolerance for being watched

The cameras are not a formality. Everything you make, break, charge for and get wrong is on the record, and the wrong parts are the ones people remember.

Shipping over planning

The founders who do well here talk to a stranger before lunch and have something live by dark. Plans are welcome, they just do not count for much by Wednesday.

An appetite for the number

Revenue is the scoreboard for two weeks. The story, the deck, the following: all of it is a thing you say about the number afterwards.

If you recognised yourself in that, apply.

The application takes about ten minutes and we read every one. We reply either way inside a month, which is faster than most people expect and slower than we would like.
